Situated by the B5152 on the shores of Hatchmere Lake at the edge of Delamere Forest, the Carriers is a popular stop for locals and visitors who come from far afield to enjoy this countryside beauty spot.

The garden at the water edge is a delightful place to have lunch or spend a summer afternoon

The pub's popularity is not restricted to the living. The place is also famous for being frequently visited by ghosts. However, short of breaking a glass or two the Carrier's ghosts are truly harmless.
